At the end of last year, it looked as if the raise of school fees would be moderate, but when all costs were reviewed in February, it turned out that conditions were much more serious than expected. The price increases for food, fuel and electricity, and consequently the salary increments for the staff to compensate for inflation, made drastic increases in school fees unavoidable.

We had to pass on these increases to our sponsors through higher sponsorship fees. In these times of economic uncertainty this is a very big burden for many of our sponsors, and we fully understand if the new fees are beyond a sponsor’s financial capability.

We would like to express our gratitude towards all those who stand by their sponsored children despite all hardship and limit themselves financially to do so, that is most honourable.
