Today, all four Mekaela Academies school buses paraded with loudspeakers through Diani, Ukunda and as far as Kwale and made a lot of noise: the results of the KCPE exams were announced today, and we have 16 (!) graduates with grades more than 400 points. That was a good reason to beat the drums and show off a bit.

The average score of all our schools was 376 points, up from 354 in 2018. This is an incredible improvement.

These are the best KCPE results since Mekaela Academies were founded.

Of the 16 graduates, 10 are from Likunda Primary School. The Headteacher Florence Munke is overjoyed (and we are too, of course), Flo is our new superstar and is celebrated by the parents. Well, she definitely deserves it.
